Angola: Irmã Sofia, Duet Geny and Giaco Entertain Cultural Show in Santa Clara

Ondjiva — Gospel singer Irmã Sofia and duet Geny e Giaco entertained Saturday Santa-Clara border district, Namacunde district, Cunene, in a show promoted by gospel music, aimed at praising the Lord and preach the gospel.

The show that took place at the local soccer stadium counted on the presence of 500 people.

According to promoter of the show from the Association Youth Geraçaão Eleita, Leopordivino Adriano, during Saturday morning the singer made sale session and signed autographs of all her albums released until the moment, aimed at raising funds to support evangelization programme for 2011.

Leopordivino Adriano stated that the singer will also perform this Sunday in Ondjiva city, supported by local singers. Gospel singer Irmã Sofia (Sister Sofia) is the author of albums Liberdade (1997), Sodoma e Gomorra(1999), Sempre adorei (2001), Armadilha de Santanas (2005) Jikula meso (2008) and Remix of (2008).
