Angola: Inamet Runs Workshop On Applied Technologies

Luanda — The National Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics (INAMET) is running Monday in Luanda, a seminar on "New Technologies applied to hydro-meteorological data management".

According to a note that reached Angop, the meeting that is involving the participation of a private company, aims at a presentation of INAMET projects underway and their perspectives.

During the workshop the participants will tackle such topics as "The complementariness between meteorological information and hydrology" and "INAMET and its challenges of modernisation".

INAMET is an institution of research and services in the field of meteorology, geophysics and astronomy, under the Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Technologies, tasked with contributing to the preservation of life and goods and supporting the country's economic development, through the generation of products for diverse applications.
