Nigeria: 2011 Election Timetable, Country's Big Challenge, Says U.S. Envoy

United States of American Ambassador to Nigeria, Robin Sanders, has said inability of the Independent National electoral Commission (INEC) to produce an accurate timetable for the 2011 general elections poses a major challenge to Nigeria.

Answering questions at the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Forum on Sunday in Abuja, Sanders said, "the big challenge is that you do not know when the elections are going to be held yet, though the decision is in the hands of the National Assembly."
