Nigeria: TJI Ends SUG Week in Grand Style

The Rector, Times Journalism Institute, an arm of the Daily Times of Nigeria, Mr Ndubuisi Ugbede has urged the management of the school to paddle the newly admitted students to enable their success in the journalism profession as he also advised the students to go about their studies with seriousness in order to enable them go through the school and not the other way round.

Ugbede said this last week during the schools 45th student union governments (SUG) week, held at the school premises in Lagos, with the theme "The role of journalists in sustaining democracy".
