Luanda — The Chadian Defence minister, gen. Kamougue AbdelKader, arrived Wednesday in Luanda, to attend the ongoing "Kwanza Exercises2010" that started on May 22 in Cabo Ledo locality, northern Bengo province.
The visiting minister was welcomed at Luanda's "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport by his Angolan counterpart, Cândido Pereira dos Santos Van-Dúnem, and other members of the Angolan army staff.
Also expected in Luanda are the defence ministers of Sao Tome and Principe, Congo Brazzaville and Gabon.
The "Kwanza 2010" going until June 10 is intended to certify the Central Africa's
Multi-national Stand-by Forces for future peacekeeping and humanitarian missions in the continent and around the world.
ECCAS groups Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Equatorial, Gabon, DRC, Central Africa Republic, São Tomé and Príncipe and Chad.
