Nigeria: AC Chieftain Picks Hole in 11-Year of Democracy

Benin City — As reactions continue to trails Nigeria 11 years of democratic governance, an Action Congress senatorial hopeful for Edo South, Mathew Urhoghide, has said the 11 years of democratic governance had failed to impact positively on the people vis-a vis the huge resources accruable to the country, since the beginning of the fourth republic.

Urhoghide, in an interview with LEADERSHIP, maintained that the country's democratic journey had not met the desires of the people noting that the lack of credible leadership has been the bane of the country. He however submitted that only a transparent electoral system would throw up commitment leaders.
