Kampala — The three former health ministers on charges related to the misappropriation of over sh1.6b under the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation have appealed to the Supreme Court, challenging the ruling of the Constitutional Court, which recently cleared the Inspector General of Government (IGG) to resume prosecuting them.
The former ministers, Maj. Gen. Jim Muhwezi, Mike Mukula, Dr. Alex Kamugisha and a State House aide, Alice Kaboyo, argued that the IGG did not have the mandate to prosecute them.
