Nigeria: Doctors Defy Strike to Deliver Woman of Quadruplets

Enugu — There was a mild drama at the Parklane Teaching Hospital, Enugu during the week when some doctors defied the three-day nationwide warning strike by the National Association of Resident Doctors to deliver a pregnant woman of quadruplets.

Saturday Independent gathered that the doctors had already complied with the directive of the national body to embark on the warning strike by the time the woman, Mrs. Ugwungbo Juliana, was brought to the hospital.
