Johannesburg — TRANSPORT is the only concern facing the Soccer World Cup local organising committee on the eve of the tournament, with the committee's chief communications officer, Rich Mkhondo, appealing to motorists to leave their cars behind and use public transport to avoid gridlock.
At the first World Cup press conference, held at Soccer City yesterday, Mr Mkhondo warned local and international spectators to come to the Bafana Bafana match early tomorrow and to make use of public transport or face hours stuck on the roads.
