Mozambique: Contract Signed for Coal Handling Plant At Benga

Maputo — The Australian company Sedgman Ltd has signed a contract for 80 million US dollars to install a coal handling and preparation plant (CHPP) at Benga, in the western Mozambican province of Tete.

The Benga coal concession is operated by Riversdale Mining of Australia, in partnership with Tata Steel of India.
