Kampala — The national voter registration has been postponed to Friday to enable people who have not registered do so in readiness for the general elections next year, the Electoral Commission said yesterday.
The exercise was initially scheduled to end on June 4, but was extended to June 14 after the commission established that many voters had not yet turned up. It started on May 3, about one-month-and-a-half ago.
