South Africa: Angolan Government's Drive to Rehabilitate Infrastructure Benefits Companies

Johannesburg — SOUTH African companies are benefiting handsomely from an ambitious investment drive by the Angolan government to catch up on a backlog in rehabilitating the country's infrastructure.

This is in line with the efforts of Angola to revive its economic fortunes after years of civil war that led to the destruction of its infrastructure . Petzetakis Africa, a local and regional pipe manufacturer based in SA, said last week that it had secured a multimillion- rand pipe installation project in the oil-rich country.
