Nigeria: Urgent Need for Footbridge At Berliet Bus Stop

Residents of Ilasamaja have once again called on the Lagos State Government to reconsider its refusal to construct an overhead bridge at Berliet bus stop along the Oshodi Apapa Express Road.

According to a clergy, Revd Stanley Omozuwa, who also resides in the area, the community calls for the construction of a footbridge at the bus stop not just for the fun of it, but as a matter of necessity. He added: "Several needless lives, even that of children, are lost in this particular spot on daily basis and if the government had taken the step we would have saved these lives."
