Owerri — The controversy surrounding the actual cost of the contract for the dredging of Nworie Rivers has being put to rest following the takeover of the contract by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) at the cost of N7.8b.
Imo State Government had on the 24 June signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the NDDC to take over the dredging of the Nworie River in line with the aspiration of the present administration.
