Windhoek — Rio Tinto CEO Tom Albanese, who is currently visiting Namibia, has expressed optimism about the uranium-mining sector after 2020, due to renewed interest in nuclear energy generation.
This is notwithstanding concerns over the use of nuclear power - such as nuclear safety, nuclear waste storage, and nuclear proliferation - which he said must be stringently managed for uranium demand to reach its full potential.
