West Africa: Minister's Loyalists Assault Journalist, Threaten Him With Death

Najib Sagna, a reporter of the Wal Grand Place, a privately-owned Dakar-based daily newspaper was in the morning of July 6, 2010 reportedly attacked by four assailants including a relative of Madam Coumba Gaye, a Senegalese minister of state.

The assailants physically attacked Sagna at about 11: 45 GMT, while he was on his way to work.
