Angola: Governor Highlights Importance of Kwanza River Corridor

Ndalatando — The governor of north central highland Kwanza Norte province, Henrique Andre Jr, on Thursday expressed confidence about the inclusion of the River Kwanza Corridor in the list of the world historical heritage, due to its importance in the national and international cultural mosaic.

Addressing a meeting that discussed the culture situation and religion phenomena in the province, attended by Culture minister, Rosa Cruz e Silva, the governor stressed the participation of the whole society in the fulfilment of this purpose through the conservation and maintenance of the historical monuments located in the river corridor.
