Mbanza Kongo — Four attempts of border violation on the common border of Angola with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) were recorded by the police over the last seven days in Zaire Province, representing a decrease in comparison to the previous period, ANGOP has learnt.

Following this act, says a press note, 14 foreign citizens from the DRC have been detained.

The infringements occurred in the locaities of Kuimba, Mpala (Noqui), Tudilia and Luamba, Soyo District.

"After the operative registration, the mentioned foreign citizens were sent to the Migration and Foreigners Services, for the due treatment", said the source.

Dozens of illegal foreign citizens, mostly from the DRC, are detained by police, for illegally entering the country.
