Governments around the world have been urged to invest in information technology research, workforce and business development to create environments that allow innovation to spur economic growth.
Speaking during the international education leaders' forum in Poland last week, Mr Jean-Philippe Courtois, Microsoft international president, said nurturing competitive economies requires that governments put in place necessary infrastructure and education systems to allow creativity.
