Angola: Favourable Prospect for Foreign Investment

Ondjiva — The political, economic stability and the peace lived by the country grant favourable environment for foreigners who want to invest in the country, said Wednesday in Ondjiva City, the official of the National Private Investment Agency (ANIP), Manuel Neto.

The official, who spoke during a talk on "Business Opportunities in Angola and the private investment law", in light of the 5th edition of Expo-Cunene, which opened last Saturday, said the country experiences since 2002 a climate of peace, which provides good business opportunities for foreign investors.

He stressed that in spite of the international financial crisis, the Angolan economy during 2009 continued registering acceptable levels of growth, particularly in the non-oil sector, for this reason government needs to diversify its economy.

Expo-Cunene counts on the participation of national and Namibian exhibitors.
