Nigeria: New Constitution Won't Work Unless... -Mark

Abuja — Leadership of the National Assembly (NASS), on Friday received copies of the resolutions of the 36 state Houses of Assembly on the amended Constitution with the Senate President, David Mark, sounding a note of warning that the newly-amended Constitution might not achieve its desired goal.

Mark, in his speech at the event, insisted that the Constitution will not work until Nigerians, especially the power brokers, who constitute the elite group in the society swallow their pride and grow the needed political will to make it work.
