Sierra Leonean model, Hayden Adama Bangura is currently one of the hottest African acts in the industry. How long have you been in the US?

I've been in the US for about 8 years now.

How do you like it here?

Well, I was 13yrs when I came here and now I'm 20yrs. I think I like it here and there are lots of modelling opportunities.

What inspired you into modelling?

Well, mmm, let's see, everyone told me I had the potential to do it, and photographers always found me in odd places so I thought, what's going on? I'll give it a try and here I am today.

When did you actually start modeling?

I started couple of years ago and it's been fun, fun and fun.

Any big modeling job you've done in the past or recently?

I've been to couple of auditions including the ANTM auditions last year in Texas, and I made it that far but it was fun though. I'm just doing shoots right now till my lucky day which is just around the corner.

I understand you do sing too?

... Ahah yes, I do and I love it.

How is that going?

... It's on hold right now. But I'm working on songs and hope to join with awesome Sierra Leone & international talents. When I go home (Sierra Leone) this June that will help me make it.

Any future plans of releasing a single/album?

That would be amazing when that happens. I hope so pretty soon. But I don't want to rush anything, in time things will fall naturally.

Who is your most admired model?

Iman! She's beautiful, and just one of the most beautiful thing out of Africa, actually the world!
