The junior senator of Grand Kru County, Blamo Nelson, says Liberian literature must be supported and that Liberian scholars be appreciated for their innovative and artistic work.
Senator Nelson addressing members of the Liberian Association of Writers (LAW) on the organization's 28th Anniversary in the country, said Liberian literature must be given priority because, he added, the scholarly works of Liberian Writers have brought immense contribution to the country and its people and as such, he was calling on the nation to rally around LAW in promoting the creative and artistic works of Liberian Writers.
