Tunisia: Sousse to Host Eleventh Edition of International Internet Festival

Tunis — From August 2 to 4, 2010, the city of Hammam Sousse will play host to the 11th edition of the International Internet Festival which is due to be held in El Kantaoui Port.

The International Internet Festival represents one of the major events in the ICT sector in Tunisia, aims primarily at fostering the spread of digital technology and the internet.

[1]At the initiative of the Tunisian Internet and Multimedia Association (ATIM), a training session on "Sustainability of information systems and management of activities continuity", will be organized from August 2 to 5.

Workshops led by ICT specialists from both private and public sectors on internet security, e-administration, electronic trade and electronic certification are also planned.

A session aimed at promoting the use of ICT in the social integration of the disabled will also be organized in collaboration with the BASMA association for the promotion of employment among the disabled.
