Tunis — Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi received, on Tuesday in Tunis, Mr. Youssef Abdellatif al Hamad, the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) General Manager and Board of Directors' Chairman.

Mr. Al Hamad said he had discussed with the Prime Minister the Fund's activities in Tunisia and the extension project of the Sousse power station, as part of a loan agreement signed, on Tuesday morning, in Tunis.

He added that the Fund hopes to play a more important role in the development of Tunisia's road infrastructure. The meeting was attended by Development and International Co-operation Minister.
