Eritrea: President Isaias Attending Cen-Sad Summit

Asmara — President Isaias Afwerki is participating in the 12th regular CEN-SAD Summit in the Chadian capital of Njamena.

The two-day summit which opened today would hold deliberations on the objective situation of CEN-SAD and its future action program.

On arrival at Njamena International Airport in the afternoon hours yesterday, President Isaias was accorded warm welcome by Chadian President Idris Debi, Government officials, diplomats and others.

Meanwhile, President Isaias and the Libyan leader Muamar Khadafi held discussion last night on various issues pertaining to CEN-SAD and enhancing bilateral relations.

CEN-SAD which was founded in 1998 has 28 member states.
