Freetown — Following the signing of Sierra Leone international winger, Albert Jarrett, it seems that another Sierra Leone international, Malvin Kamara is also heading for Sincil Bank to join Lincoln City.
According to reports in London, the midfielder cum striker has been invited for a trial with Lincoln City FC. Although no specific match has been mentioned, it is possible that he could feature for The Imps in their friendly match at Bishop Stortford.
Kamara who is based in London at present took part in Hayes' match last Saturday against Wycombe Wanderers and if he does play then he will replace another Imps' trialist Scott Anson who has suffered a setback in his attempts to win a contract after he sustained a back injury.
Already hopes are high that Kamara will succeed with the English first division side considering his rich experience of Football League, having played over 150 professional games for clubs like MK Dons, Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town. Presently, he is out of the professional game having ended last season at Guiseley.
Kamara has so far won a cap for the Sierra Leone national team, Leone Stars in June 2007 when he featured in the 2008 African Cup of Nations qualifying match against Togo in Freetown.
