Nigeria: Country Remains Committed to the Ideals of the African Union

Abuja — President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has affirmed that Nigeria remained committed to pursuing and promoting the ideals of the African Union (AU).

Speaking on behalf of African leaders attending the AU Summit for the first time during the Opening Ceremony of the 15th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the AU in Kampala Uganda, on Sunday July 25, President Jonathan also pledged his personal commitment to work towards the realization of the vision of the continental organization.
