Kampala — A tripartite summit gathering the heads of state of Angola, South Africa and Congo Brazzaville took place this morning in Kampala (Uganda) in the sidelines of the 15th summit of the African Union.

Although no information leaked out of the closed-door meeting, it is expected that presidents Jose Eduardo dos Santos, Jacob Zuma and Denis Sassou Nguesso issues related to the international political situation, namely bilateral relations, peace, stability and development in the african continent.

This is the 2nd meeting this month of the three statesmen, following the one that took place the opening of the World Football Cup, early this month in South Africa.

The angolan head of state, already back in Luanda, also met today, before leaving Kampala, host president Youweri Museveni.
