Nigeria: Minister Condoles Bauchi Emirate Over Death of Emir

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Bala Mohammed has commiserated with the people of Bauchi Emirate, the entire people of Bauchi State and in particular, the family of the late Emir of Bauchi, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Suleiman Adamu, whose death occurred on Friday, 23rd July, 2010 in an Egyptian hospital.

The minister in a press statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Nosike Ogbuenyi described the late Royal Father's death as a great loss not only to the people of Bauchi Emirate and State, but the entire country.

He noted that the tenure of the late Emir impacted positively on the lives of the people who benefited immensely from his honesty, patience, humility, wisdom and peaceful nature. Senator Mohammed who is also a son-in-law to the late Emir described him as a great leader who worked tirelessly for the peace, unity and progress of Bauchi State and Nigeria as a whole.

The minister who also holds the prestigious traditional title of Kauran Bauchi said that Dr. Suleiman Adamu shall be fondly remembered and dearly missed by the people for his dedication to the service of humanity, sacrifice and courage.

He prayed Almighty Allah to grant his soul eternal peace in Aljanat Firdausi.
