Luanda — The musician Wiza considered on Tuesday that the International Jazz Festival organized annually in Luanda is an important event to expand the variety of Angolan rhythms as well as a source to exchange experiences with world renowned artists.
Wiza will be part of the event next Friday, where he will share the stage of Atlântico Cinema with the Brazilian Lenine, the British Ronny Jordan, the Zimbabwean Oliver Mtukudzi and the Cameroonian Blick Bassy.
"Before the holding of any show artists usually exchange ideas with their colleagues and this is a good opportunity that Jazz festival brings, because a contact with these figures is not possible every day", he said.
The three-day show will feature foreign artists like Waldemar Bastos, Lura, Jonas Gwangwa, George Benson, Filipe Mukenga, Nanuto and the Groups Freshly Ground and 340ml.
The Jazz Festival promises to bring about 20 artists of jazz and of other music styles to the Atlantic Cinema next Friday and Sunday.
