Massawa — Staff members of Finan and Maritime corporations engaged in shipping lines and port services have taken the initiative of extending support to families of fallen heroes.

The head of Finan Corporation, Mr. Abdurahman Ahmed, said that the initiative taken in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare branch, administrators and village elders is aimed at assisting martyrs' families in a regular and organized manner.

He stated that financial assistance has been extended to 19 needy martyrs' families and commended the role demonstrated by the administrative bodies and the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare branch in the Northern Red Sea region. He noted that supporting families of fallen heroes is not only the responsibility of the Government but the general public as well. In this connection, Mr. Abdurahman called on other institutions to emulate the benevolent gesture.

The beneficiaries expressed satisfaction with the continued care and support being extended to them on the part of the people and Government.
