Uganda: Kutesa Elected Parish Representative for Elderly

Kampala — Foreign affairs minister Sam Kutesa has been elected NRM parish representative for the elderly in Sembabule district.

Kutesa, who was voted unopposed at Kawanda parish in Monday's countrywide elections for NRM parish leaders, was attending the AU summit in Kampala on the polling day. Candidates vying for the seat must be 55 years and above, according to the election guidelines.
