Angola: Farmers Outline Plan to Harmonise Prices

Luanda — A plan of flow and trading of the local production was approved Monday by the Angola's National Association of Peasants (UNACA)-Federation, in coastal Kwanza Sul province, aimed at harmonising prices of products traded to PRESILD, announced Tuesday the chairperson of the board of institution, David Nunes.

Speaking to Angop, by telephone from Sumbe city, on the current condition of Programme of Restructuring of the System of Logistic and Distribution of Essential Products to Population (PRESILD), David Nunes said that the plan also will avoid fixing a random price, either by family farmers, or by PRESILD.

He added that the plan will make the selling of the goods to PRESILD regular, with a balanced price which meets the desires of both the sellers and buyers.

The chairman called for the Trade Ministry's intermediation so that the protocol between the institution and PRESILD bears fruit.
