Angola: Society With Little Habit for Plastic Arts - Artist

Luanda — The plastic artist Benjamim Sabby, Wednesday here said that Angolan society creates little opportunities to promote the habit for plastic arts arguing that for this reason the number of buyers or collectors of these works is still small.

Speaking to ANGOP, regarding the topic "Plastic arts in the country" the artist stated that in the country people still do not know the value of an artistic work and its market rules.

According to Benjamin Sabby, plastic artists are the main disseminators of national culture since their works have transmitted continually images and messages of cultural aspects of the country.

Benjamin Sabby is a member of the National Union of Plastic Artists (UNAP), an official of DINFA (National Department for Artistic Training ) and teacher of arts.
