Angola: Brazilian Delegation for WIDF Conference Jets in Luanda

Luanda — A four-member Brazilian delegation arrived Thursday, here, to participate at the Women's International Democratic Federation (WIDF), set for 29-30 July in Luanda.

Speaking to Angop, at International "4 de Fevereiro Airport", a source of the group stressed that this type of event is a benefit for African women, since it has as an objective reinforcing and strengthening existing co-operation between women of the world.

In her point of view, the conference will serve also to assess leadership in education, health, among other sectors led by women.

The Women's International Democratic Federation was founded in December 1945 whose main objectives are gender equality and women empowerment, among others.
