Tanzania: Dar Golfer Claims Title

Pembe Kondo fired 37 stableford points to win the first division title in an 18-hole tournament held on Wednesday at the Dar es Salaam Gymkhana Club course.

Organised by Club's vice chairman, Mohamed Diwani, the tournament saw Michael Makala win the second spot after carding 36 points. Alex Kobia chalked 40 points to win the B Division title, three points above the second-placed, Saleh Tambwe.

Anna Pangani carded 33 points to win the Ladies Division followed by Stephanie Sayore and Fatma Makame who notched 25 and 22 respectively. Mwanyenza grossed 73 strokes to win the professional golfers' title while Bryson Nyenza claimed the runnerup position with 77 gross strokes.
