Kumasi — YOUNG PRODIGY Tawrick Jibril might prolong his stay at Accra Hearts of Oak, as reports filtering in from the Phobian camp suggest that talks between player and team so far look positive.
Tawrick's contract with Hearts ends in October this year but even before it did, clubs like Kotoko and Ashgold have made advances at the young chap.
About a week ago Hearts announced that the player who is blessed with immense talent, is their bona fide property and not for sale, asking the clubs that have expressed interest in him to back off.
The Hearts Board Chairman Commodore Mensah hinted on radio last week about Hearts' desire to give Tawrick a fresh deal.
And barely a week after Mr. Mensah's comments, signals emanating from the Hearts camp indicates that they are on the brink of reaching a possible deal with Tawrick's manager.
Sources say Hearts have agreed to cough up a whopping 600 million old Cedis for Tawrick to commit his future to the club.
Per the dictates of the Hearts offer which is likely to be accepted by Tawrick's manager, the Accra-based club would initially pay half of the amount and settle the rest later on.
