The quest for the National Rally Championship (NRC) resumes next weekend with the Umospoc Challenge Rally 2010 taking centre stage.
The event, fourth round on the national calendar will run over two days (August 7-8) in Mukono district. Six of the seven drivers contesting for title have yet to register for the event, only Godfrey Lubega, in fourth place in the standings has registered.
However, Hajji Juma Nkambwe, event manager is confident the other five top drivers will enter before the August 2 deadline. "There is still time for the other rivals to register," Nkambwe told the media during the launch yesterday in Industrial area. He also announced that a total of 14 drivers have put in their entries.
