Angola: Chevron Holds Seminar on Investment Projects in Cabinda

Cabinda — A seminar on investment projects was held on Thursday in northern Cabinda province by the US Oil Company, Chevron, Angop learned.

The workshop was aimed at equipping civil and bank servants with skills on new ways of drafting and assessing investment projects. The event was also aimed at empowering the participants with skills to draft and assess investment studies through the use of a software called Comfar-Expert III.

On the occasion, the provincial secretary for the public and private entrepreneurial sector, Bernardo Machado, highlighted the importance of the workshop, saying it permits the youths to develop their entrepreneurial skills.

In his turn, the director of Chevron public relations and governmental matters in Cabinda, Manuel Humberto Baquisse, thanked for the participation of everyone at the seminar and their engagement during the event. The director exhorted the participants to use the new skills properly and serve the purposes with efficiency.
