Angola: Women Called to Join Electoral Registration Update

Amboim — Angolan women to be 18 years until December this year and those who have not yet registered, must go to brigades and get registered during the updating phase that started Friday in the country.

The appeal was made by the district coordinator of the Executive Commission for the Electoral Process in Amboim, Miguel Sabalo Alfredo, who spoke of the need to encourage citizens to participate in the process going until September 30 this year.

Talking at a meeting marking the celebrations of the frican Women Day, July 31, Miguel Sabalo said that women should be an example, by joining registration brigades based at local and district administrations.
