Luanda — The SADC Parliamentary Forum, assembled on 26-28 July in Windhoek, Namibia, recommended the creation of a common policy in terms of information technology among the parliaments of the community.
The information was given by the MP of the MPLA parliamentary group, Meneses Clemente Cabinda, in his return to the country, after having participated in the parliamentary forum of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), on information technologies.
According to the MP, the forum recommended the strengthening of information technology in parliaments, having into account the need for establishing a common policy for the implementation of the projects of the community.
"The meeting also served to make a balance of progresses made by parliaments of the community. In this regard Angola National Assembly has taken important steps concerning information technologies", stressed the parliamentarian.
