Ndalatando — About 760 tons of "coffee cherries" will be collected in Kwanza Norte Province, as part of coffee growers actions in the region, aimed at re-launching and elevating the level of coffee production in various districts of the region.

The information was made available to the press by the province head of the Coffee National Institute (INCA), Tavares Jeremias, that highlighted the reduction of coffee price, difficulty in transporting the products, connected to the stoppage of most of the machinery, as principal difficulties that affect the current producers of the region.

The official stated that the producers of the province currently have stored about 300 tons of coffee "Mabuba", due to difficulties for commercialisation. Tavares Jeremias emphasised that the sector is waiting currently for the arrival in the province of Brazilian technicians to repair the machines with technical problems in the province.
