Angola: Govt Resumes Agriculture Programme for Former Soldiers

Ganda — The deputy governor of Benguela Province for organisational and technical matters, Eliseu Epalanga, handed out last Sunday agricultural tools to the farmers of Chimboa village, Ganda District, for the resumption of the farming project aiming at the social reintegration of former soldiers.

The deputy governor handed out equally 67 ploughs, equal number of agriculture work tool kits, three electrical pumps, irrigation equipment and motorcycles. At first stage, the programme will benefit 200 former soldiers from the extinct Fapla army, in agricultural production at an area of 400 hectares, and each will hold a hectare.
