St. Edward Upper Basic School, recently held its speech and prize giving day at a ceremony held at the school ground in Bwiam, Western Region.
Speaking at the occasion, Yankuba Manneh, the programme officer at St. Joseph's Family Farms, urged the students to make best use of the opportunities created for them by the government of The Gambia in the area of education.He added that, with the declaration of Vision 2020 and the Millennium Development Goals by the government, access to quality education in any form in The Gambia is no longer a problem.
