Nigeria remained rooted at the 30th position of the FIFA world ranking for the month of August. And after their 2-1 loss to South Korea yesterday, the Eagles may take a further deep in the September rankings.
There were no significant changes in the August rankings, which saw Egypt rated number nine in the world maintaining their number one spot in African, while 23rd placed Ghana is second in Africa. Cote Ivoire, Nigeria and Algeria made up the top five in African.
