Akin Ibidapo-Obe is an associate Professor of law, University of Lagos. He read law at the University of Lagos and graduated in 1977. He did his National Youth Service in 1978 and was called to the Nigerian bar. He later did his postgraduate programme at the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University). In this interview with Reporter Wale Igbintade, he spoke on the forthcoming 2011 elections and the ability of the anti-graft agencies to fight corruption. Excerpts:
The country is preparing for 2011 elections, but there are still election petitions pending before tribunals. How do you see this trend?
