Luanda — Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, attended in "Boulevard d'Armes", one of the main avenues of Brazzavile, a military parade to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Congo.
The presentation was done by soldiers and police from Angola, Republic of Congo, The Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Gabon, Libya, Morocco and France.
In Brazzaville, under the invitation of his counterpart Denis Sassou Nguesso, José Eduardo dos Santos watched the military parade with other African Heads of State and Government, also invited for the event.
