Nigeria: Fasehun Asks Yoruba Elders to Reconcile Daniel, Bankole

Abeokuta — Leader and founder of Oodua Peoples' Congress (OPC), Dr. Fredrick Fasehun, has called on elder statesmen in the country to reconcile Ogun State Governor Gbenga Daniel and Speaker, House of Representatives Dimeji Bankole as the 2011 general election approaches.

In a statement signed by Fasehun weekend, the OPC leader stated that the recent display of shame at the inauguration of the Sango-Ota flyover was an embarrassment, saying "the mess was splashed not just in the local media, but worldwide through the internet. It was indeed an international embarrassment."
