Ghana: Birth and Death Registry Rotting Away

The Principal Assistant Registrar of Births and Deaths Registry, Mr Kingsley Asare Addo, has predicted that unless the Registry is rescued, it would collapse sooner than expected.

He related this disheartening piece of news to the Public Agenda during a fact-finding mission at the Registry. A cursory look at the place reveals a sordid spectacle of rot and total neglect that needed to be addressed as soon as practicable to save the place from total collapse.
